No consideration was given to where I would run today. On auto-pilot I headed for Balgownie for a standard 45 minute run on grass.

Yesterday it was wet and dark and so the gym seemed the best idea. Today it was much lighter at 6.15am and it looked as though it might be a pleasant temperature in which to run. It was certainly bright but unfortunately it was really too cold for shorts and a normal short sleeved running top.

The birds around Balgownie park seemed to be in great tune and that along with a discussion I had had with a colleague yesterday made me consider options for the creation of an online sound map of the local area using Google Earth.
